God.Damn.Chan.I.Love.This
GDC.jpg

Alpha Pup... you know I needed this right? The jazzy, oozing synths and fluffy reverberating bass in this album is unreal. Slush is God.Damn.Chan's latest project and a personal one driven by change in his life journey from last year till now, a beautiful combination of bass and inner visions as you let it bump and surround you in it's warm light. You feel what Maine and Cali are like in some of these tracks, it varies from icy highs to summer thumps and jazzy sax n keys laying some nice touches to the tracks. You can just let this one ride the fuck out completely but if I had to pick favorites... Syrup Bath, Slush, To My Friends, GroovybbySmoke Break (the last min., damn) and Deuces. Peep the video for Slush below and see what you're in for.
*Slush will be released tomorrow (Feb. 23, 1018) and will be up for purchase/streaming here*

Mono/Poly Ra-Rise

Like a new day rising and the air is crisp with a temperature of 63º, all is well. The grass is wet, the neighbor's car isn't blaring, best sleep ever and this is what your mornings should be like.

Mono/Poly got it incredibly right. His new album 'Golden Skies' off Brainfeeder is coming out August 25th. Keep an open ear for this dude's work, you won't be disappointed.

Prime Yeezus Re-Do's

KWY_RDWith Yeezus setting some sites in a fiery fervor or immense boredom, this might be the album that has the most controversy so far in 2013. Kanye obviously knows what he's doing regardless of how focused/unfocused you think Yeezus is but take a listen to some of these dope remixes floating around Soundcloud now.

My verdict of Yeezus: An acquired taste for sure and not everyone will appreciate it. I enjoyed it mostly.

Dewey & Friends High on Art

If you've been following the Dewey Decibel appreciation here then you know this dude is about that art, well him and his friends got some art drank in and now engulfed in visions. See what happens when they take to the streets 'High on Art'. This track is off the 'Son of a Beach' album and continues to show how much he works on his craft both lyrically and visually. Dope indeed.

Lune the Moon Game

LUNEWe all love us some video games and when a game is announced that involves controlling what was thought to be impossible or not the run of the mill jumping/shooting/collecting tags, that's when our interest goes sky high. Enter Lune, a game being created by six students (including Dedale's Sergey Mojov) for the French game competition Hits Playtime where you control the moon, so you get to control gravity, light, and the tides... crazy right? The game revolves around an island in the middle of an ocean that doesn't get light and is occupied by a large ancient tower with Runic Guardians. Check out the trailer along with some concept art and the main character model below. Head over to their Facebook page **Like it** if ya do and watch it for more information on this awesome looking game... that I can't wait to play.
