Venomous and His Deadly 30 in "A Moment To Reflect Vol. 2"

My initial thought when I read Venomous was going to have a new album was "Awwwwww shit!" and it went way beyond that once I listened to it. This album/compilation has a total of 30 tracks (skits included) and never felt like it was too much or dragged after the almost hour and a half listening point. Besides having an amazing amount of emcees present it also brought the WGM ideal in place perfectly, everyone worked together and created this thing... this powerful orb of Hip-Hop that is able to blow speakers and bring the most cynical Hip-Hop fan to the all mighty head-nod. From local NJ Hip-Hop heroes to international artists (look at the top tags!), Venomous has sprinkled the magic dust on this compilation and my God does it go well. I can't and won't go into full detail because this is something that HAS to be heard, just know that this feels like the Hip-Hop Super Friends defending what's right and mowing over all who oppose like true Giants. There are new songs and a few that we've heard before but weren't in an album, perfect additions to a fantastic album that will be worth your 10.99 if I say so myself. A Giant salute to those involved in this project, everything sounds great and your mission is complete!

I will do more analyzing of certain tracks in the near future to bring to light a few things so look out for that.

Venomous2000 'The Most Efficient' Official Video

My God this album IS crazy, wait till you all get the dose... 'The Most Efficient' is the newest single off Venomous2000's "A Moment To Reflect II" which features some of NJ illest emcees (CyMarshall Law, John Robinson, El Da Sensei) in one place, then you'll see why the tracks title speaks volumes. I am going to be reviewing this title soon and will be commenting upon one of the biggest releases of Venomous' career. For now enjoy the video and watch that head nod... your dome might just fall off if you let it.

Robot Koch & John Robinson's 'Smorgasbord' Is Ready

Jersey emcee John Robinson teamed up with Robot Koch for the album 'Robot Robinson' coming out April 12th, containing a different feel to JR's sound and mixing it with other genres. I always love when Hip-Hop tries something different and it's better when it sounds this good. It keeps it vibrant and relative to others that might not even listen to Hip-Hop at all. I'm not saying to mix it with every other genre there is...  but it's good to see some folks playing nice and creating something worthwhile like this project. Peace to Ima One for the crazy album cover!

Venomous2000 & DJ Priority - Fresh, Amazingly

Two insanely talented NJ artists Venomous2000 and DJ Priority have banded together and created 'Fresh Amazingly' which is just that. Just off the stage where they opened up for Raekwon in Vernon, NJ at the Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam, they released a project where it works in total Hip-Hop harmony. Venomous has been in our ears for a while now and we've always appreciated where he's coming from and this album continues his vision of growth and life, with DJ Priority in the mix well that's just dope icing on the cake. Features including some of Jersey's dope emcees John Robinson, CyMarshall Law, Phonetic, Rhymageddon, Sol Zalez and many more, 'Fresh Amazingly' is a labor of love with some of the biggest local hearts of Hip-Hop. Having a few favorites (9) on the album it would be hard pressed for me to not recommend this album to the folks out there looking for an album that oozes crazy beats and life.

Stay true to your vision Venomous you're doing a great thing and the support is def there, DJ Priority has created another stamp of approval in indie Hip-Hop with the talent he displays on the album. There are many emcees out there that preach but not many preach about the right things, if that's what you look for add Venomous2000 to your arsenal then. This is one of the reasons why Hip-Hop is such a rich culture and will continue to thrive in today's society because when emcees and producer come together and create life thru music... it's a beautiful thing. The album released today on iTunes, pick it up by clicking below and show Hip-Hop some love!
